Fees And Policies
The fee for our Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental Assessment is $4,250.00. Our assessment fee includes:

  Interdisciplinary Team Assessment
  Demystification
  Comprehensive Written Report, including Learning Plan
  Follow-up meeting to review the Report and develop an Implementation Plan
  Upon request, telephone meeting with teacher(s) and/or tutor(s) to review our findings and recommendations
  Upon request, advocacy and school placement consultation with attorney

Additional follow-up and implementation support is available at an additional charge. Standardized batteries (e.g., full WISC-IV and Woodcock-Johnson) can be made available to supplement our Comprehensive Assessment, when necessary to support specific accommodations or school placement. Fees for these services vary depending upon the specific circumstances and testing required. They generally require a separate visit and fee.

The fee for Initial Consultation with Dr. Yellin is $600.00. The consultation fee includes:

  In-person consultation with Dr. Paul Yellin, not to exceed 1.5 hours.
  Advance review of previous testing, school reports and other pertinent materials.

Initial Consultation is not a prerequisite for the Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental Assessment. Please note that consultation does not include assessment or testing.

  Tutoring and Skills Coaching
  Consultations with Learning Specialists and Psychologists
  Medical Student Consultations and Assessments
  College and Young Adult Consultations and Assessments
  Advocacy and School Placement Consultations with Attorney
  Medication Management

PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit of $500 is due within 10 business days of the day your Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental Assessment is scheduled. The full balance is due at the time of service. The Yellin Center accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal or cashier checks and cash.

INSURANCE
Payment in full is due at the time of service. Many insurance carriers will provide some reimbursement for our services. We will provide an invoice to you, including diagnostic and procedural codes (CPT and ICD-9) to assist you in seeking reimbursement. It is your responsibility to submit the necessary documents to your insurance carrier. Please note: we are generally considered both out-of-network and non-participating for insurance carriers.

SCHOLARSHIP
Families with low to moderate incomes can apply for a limited amount of assessment appointments at a reduced fee. In order to be considered, please submit both a Contact Form and a Scholarship Application.  If you are interested in helping to fund assessments for students in need, please contact The Yellin Center.
