Learning Assessments
The Yellin Center’s independent educational evaluation program will pinpoint the specific strengths and challenges affecting a student's learning. By deeply understanding how students learn, we can provide strategies and support to improve academic performance, increase self-confidence and develop success in school and in life.

Consultation
A consultation at The Yellin Center can be a good first-step for parents or older students who are not certain that an evaluation is necessary but are seeking a new perspective regarding a student's learning. Every evaluation we conduct begins with a consultation with Dr. Yellin.

Ongoing Support Services
The Yellin Center can provide support throughout your child's academic career, including progress monitoring, regular re-evaluation, advocacy, guidance, case management and other services.

Medication Management
When appropriate, The Yellin Center can provide consultation and ongoing prescription management for medications. We strongly believe that medication should only be considered in the context of a student's overall educational plan, and never thought of as a "quick fix" for school difficulties.

College Transition Services
We offer consultation and support services for families who are beginning to consider life beyond high school. We can guide parents and students through the steps needed to begin this journey, offer support and guidance along the way, and help to ensure that each student finds an appropriate program to meet his or her needs and obtains the supports necessary for academic and personal success.

Advocacy
Our Director of Advocacy and Transition Services works with the families of students we assess, providing information and guidance about rights and procedures under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 (of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973).

Services for Schools and Organizations
The Yellin Center offers customized professional development and training programs for organizations in a variety of fields, including education, business and healthcare. Our unique presentations and workshops incorporate findings from the latest research on learning and neuroscience and will be customized to help meet your organization’s objectives.
